Default NEED HELP- Left Dipped Headlight?

Okay, i was driving the other day, and my car beeped and a bulb symbol with an X through it came on and said Left Dipped Headlight. So i realized my left headlight was out. So i just figured this meant the bulb blew. I went and got a new bulb today and just installed it 15 minutes ago, but it still won't work, and the other bulb looked fine to me. So i don't know what is goin on, anybody know?

Something isn't working.

Try to reseat the bulb.

If that doesn't work, get a volltmeter to check for power at the connector.

Is it the headlight leveler icon? If so it may be creating errors. What year is your car?

Its just a bulb icon with an X through it. I'm guessing the power connection is bad? I hear a really high pitched buzz coming from the headlight area when i turn the light on.

If you click on the members name, it will show you how long ago their last post was. Seeing as how this thread is over 2 years old, that would be something to investigate. He hasnt posted here in about a year- dont expect a response. You could though trouble shoot with a volt meter as suggested.
