Hey,
i just bought an 97 audi a4 1.8t, it has 79 thousand miles on it. I am really excited to get going on moding it out. anybody have any ideas on good things to add to make it faster. thanks!

speed is not going to come cheap on an audi, just to let you know

 

Chip it.
Exhaust it.
Intake it.
Then...
Suspend it.
and Brake it.

 

actually for the boost you can get on a 97 compared to stock Id say it comes pretty damn cheap... what other vehicle can you get 40-50 hp for $300-400...but of course its all relative depends on how you define speed[&:]

 

chip it!
then get an exhaust system and cold air intake and most definately get a front mount intercooler to suck in all the good cold air!!!
