At a stop light and I hear a loud whistling (NOT TURBO) from under the hood, then the car starts to idle rough, jumping between 800-1200 RPM. I pull overand the loud noise is coming from the back of the engine bay toward the top of the intake. Is there a vacuum pump there??? Has this happened to anyone? I have a '062.0T M6, 25,000 miles.

 

Id go to the dealer your under warranty. Im not to familer with the 2.0t yet but it sound like a suction or air pump line is broken
