Default Need a part Number please...

Im looking for a part number for the lower fender trim piece for an '01 b5. Its the black plastic piece that mounts to the lower front fender to match the door moulding. Its held in by clips and a single screw in the front. Anyone know the part # for this?

Thanks,
Blake

I think this page has what you are looking for. I see fender protection strips down at the bottom of the page. If you are unsure whether this is the exact part, just call them and they will confirm. Hope that is what you are looking for.

Oh, sorry about that. Now I know what part you are looking for, thanks for the pic.

I had a really hard time trying to find the door molding, which is the black rubber strip on the bottom of the door which is held on by clips and one screw. I looked for days and couldn't find it anywhere but at ECS (the link I gave you above). Anyway, now that I know what you are looking for, I will see if I can dig one up somewhere.

Ok just so everyone knows what we are looking at, here are a few pics of the part. We want to find this part, but for the drivers side. For referece it is about 6 inches long. (See attachment link at bottom of this post)

You may want to try calling up one of the Audi dismantlers and see if they have one because I think this part will be difficult to find new.

I think there are a few others listed in the Audi links at the top of the forums page.

Otherwise, I will try to find you a new part tomorrow after work.
Good luck.

Two available on Ebay from a salvage yard. Left and right side.

There is an uncanny resemblence between the pic you posted and the pics posted on this listing. Interesting.

Just buy one of these.
