Hey guys i neede some advice, i was driving on the freeway and a cement brick fell out of the pickup truck in front of me and being unable to aviod it
i ran over it. My car is lowered so it got stuck and i had to slowly pull over to the right. My body, tires, rims and all that look fine but i had it towed to my house because the plastic under the car ripped and all my coolant and oil leaked out onto the freeway. Do you think this would be repairable by the dealership becuase i didnt want to go through insurance, for it would increase my premium a lot. Does it seem like a smll engine issue or could there be other things wron? by the way the car does start and drive but has neeither of those fluids in it.

 

I don't know about the coolant, but I had a lowered A4 and I hit a rock once and it punched a hole in my oil pan. Labor on that sucked cause I had quattro, so they had to remove part of the drive train to replace the oil pan. It was about 500 once everything was all said and done... Hope that helps... yea your oil pan is probably toast, I have heard where people ran overa squirel and it took out the oil pan

 

If there is coolant and oil leaking, of course its going to be anything "minor"... Take advantage of your insurance. If you havent had many claims in the past, they shouldnt raise your premium.
