Sounds like a dv prob, the 71on didnt to **** for my ko4 setup, i even bought a new one. Then, threw in a baily and worked well. From my expeirence, its a boost leak. When ur running this much psi on a ko4, hose's are going to fly, heck, 2 weeks ago i blew off a hose coming of my manifold.

btw- when i say blew, i mean blew. not just a crack and boost seeping out. This b!!ch flew off like a fire hose with nobody hangin on to it.

I'm leaning toward dump valve too now. I would still check your fuel intake though. It may not be getting enough.

Fuel intake has nothing to do with it.

i removed,inspected and tested both of my 710n valves

they both are in great shape, about 10hg vac starts to open them

i questioned if it was too much cfm for the spring inside the valve to handle and it might push the valve open?

inspected both seals, no tears at all. since pressure comes in the side of the valve i would see a rip in the diaphram i think?

it would be strange if the one i bought 5 months ago for my chip worked for about a week and a half with the k04 and a new one doesnt work at all?

[sm=headbang.gif]

strange thing was it run just a good on the k03 x-chip software as it did for 3 days on the k04 program

when i pressure tested i pulled the pcv valve out of the intake hose and plugged that hole

stuck my rig in the intake hose at the maf connection and pumped up to 20psi

my intake hose swelled like a ballon but no leaks.

Thats a good way to test the hoses definitely. :-)

The reason I said fuel, was we had that problem with my old car, almost identical actually (not an audi though). Thats why I bought it up.

Uuummm, its not suppose to swell i dont think, is there any chance u have something"clogging" in ur system, and your not getting all ur airflow. Give tom a pm about this, he will have a good idea.

the intake hose from the air box the the turbo inlet isnt meant for charge pressure but it tested it anyway
