ANYONE KNOW WHAT A "PINGING" OR RATTLE ENGINE NOSIE WHEN ACCEL. IN THE 3500 TO 4500 RPM RANGE MAY BE

Your running shi.t gas. Up your octane to the highest available & let me know if it goes away.

I always put 91 or 93, i did put a fuel enhancer in the tank today and def reduced the ping

Sounds like your car engine needs to be retarded a little bit. Should really ping that much though. If an octane booster only helped a little then there is an issue. Take it to a doctor and see what they say. Get it vagged, these things usually will come up with a code.

With these motors u dont very often have to retard them, most guys adding c16 to step it up.

Yeah, I think a gas additive would be the best way to go but I didn't think that pinging was to common.... even for you guys?
