Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and Audi, I just bought a 03 1.8 AWD two days ago. & I feel like I need more power from it. I have been reading this forum for the last couple days. I learned a lot from it.

Well, here are my questions:
I would like to know what are the items I could do to make my 1.8 reaches close to 250HP at the wheel, with out hurting too much of the engine and get it balance with other parts of the car. This is my first European car, I was around with Japanese car, so I don't really know many about moding European car, and so I will appreciate it if you would provide as much detail as possible. Thanks a lot

 

umm, SEARCH

 

chip, dv, intercooler... just do a couple searches on that.. i dunno a ton of info on the 1.8 since i own a 2.8... but that should get you goin

i believe they were saying that ko4 (with supporting mods) gets you right in the range... so it'd be the bt, chip, dv, maybe exhaust... just search along those lines, but its where to go off...

 

chip, diverter valve, better exhaust is a start =D

 

it aint cheap like jap cars tho. i learned that one for myself.

i also came from jap cars and now to euro. aftermarket shii are expensive as fck! but worth it. hehe
you need to find a shop that'll hook you up.

Chip, DV, Intake with good heat shield, Full Cat-Back exhaust with either high flow or test pipe put on, Intercooler


That could take you in the 240-250 range without upgrading the turbo.
