Love the car...2000 a4 1.8t...85,000 miles and drives like a dream. Full 35% tint around, and black exterior/interior. Its a manual so its very fun.

Three questions that should be easilly answered...but I do not have the owner's manual.

1) How do I turn on heated seats, seller advertised them but i do not see any obvious buttons to turn them on? Maybe he was lying not too worried about this.

2)Also how do you use front headlight washers? Again im confused about how to turn these on.

3) Finally I have the homelink, and I am holding the first and third buttons but no light is flashing...is it possible that it is broken?

I don't have heated seats but I'm pretty sure the controls are at the bottom left of the air conditioner controls. They are at least in that general area.

When your headlights are on and you function your windshield cleaner they will work.

see if your car has the owners manual which is located under the steering wheel in a lil compartment

that should answer all those questions

 

i'm not too sure if the location of the heated seats would be the same as my '98 A4 1.8t. but if it is than it is located on the middle right/left sides of my screen..... it's the little jog dials which are set to '0' right now

 

Just hold your windshield washer for about 3 seconds. Then the headlights will get washed.
Do this while Driving.

 

The homelink was a bugger for me to set up... if you're still have trouble tomorrow... PM me, I'll scan the homelink part of my manual for you... not gonna do it now, because its late, manual is out in the car, and my scanner is annoying.
