new to audi! a few questions.
i just recently sold mytastefully modded civic in hopes of getting something new. my friend has a 2000 auto 1.8t audi and im basically inlove with it. now im planning on purchaseing a 1995-2001 1.8t manual and i have a few questions since im new =]
with the honda i just hit 145,000 miles with the motor being turbo'd with all supporting mods and the motor never let me down. are the audi's similar or do they start choking at 100k like persay a domestic car would. during my search's ive notice about 75% of the cars i find are 65k+ miles. which is absolutly fine.
and looking for another tastefully modded audi, what SHOULD i be looking for?

there are ppl with the 1.8t with over 200k on the engine. alot of ppl have around 100k with no engine problems. just make sure u do the timing belt evry 60k or so. the turbo itself will give out though. all the more reason for an upgrade lol. and there are ppl who mod to around 400 chp without internal work. it's a very solid engine.
