1)Yesterday, I bought a 1999 audi a4 2.8 quattro with S4 Rims. When I am in 5th gear and going 60mph the rpms are at 4000. I am wondering if this is normal or if the rims are throwing it off. I will post pics soon.

 

I would have it checked out that's not right.

And its not because of the bigger wheels.

 

yea thats way too high, i think when i do like 65-70 on parkway n whatnot im at more around 3k rpm

 

My 1.8 isnt even that high at that speed, and the 1.8s rev unusually high.

 

Yea def. not right, at 60 mph im at about 2800, rims wouldnt do that
