the point is that the filter does abetter job of trapping particles than any other filrter

Soley4press I retrofitted a dimming compass mirrir from a new model.

It comes factory on some Audi model or another. Can't remember now, it's been a year or so. I'll take some pics tonight once it gets dark...

its a cool and easy mod - I did the same with my mirror, but not the compass one - I just wanted a dimming mirror.
They come on 2000+ MY.

As far as proof of the foam. all the WRC cars use them cause they keep out mud
