Jest Thats tight I gotta have one...my audi has autodimming cause its a 2000 but I want the compass....was it an easy install???

 

yeah it's not too bad of an install. Do a search for "compass" and search by my name. You'll find a post from a year ago where brrman helped me install it.

 

Let me ask this..My 2000 with dimming mirror...well I can not really tell if it does anything. The place where the eye is look like two medal sensors and a chip...I am thinking it broke...

you should know if it is dimming or not. When someone pulls up to me with there lights on, the mirror instantly dims down a greenish color.

To test your mirror, you could shine a light toward the mirror portion and cover the sensor in the back. The mirror should dim.
