Default New headlights... Which ones???

hey guys thought i could use some help deciding.... I've got a yellow a4... not the Imola s4 yellow but the brilliant yellow direct import from germany yellow. (very yellow). I was looking at some of the headlights on ebay (ya i know, don't flame me) and was thinking about the projector lenses with the black housings. I think it would go well with the car.

But my question was: who knows what the light output is like??? anyone had any experience with em?

If they suck I'm buyin an OEM/real pair from a guy here on the forums... they're a pair of HID projo's from a 2001. I'm only about functionality not looks... I drive to baker 3 times a week and Whistler every other weekend for riding, so i want the best light output.

ya by the way i got dibs on them i don't get paid till friday so I thought i'd shoot out a little poll on what you guys would think would be better while I wait for my check.

1)Black housing projo's from ebay
2)2001 oem HID housings from forum member (not black housings.. more like chrome kinda thing)
OR
3)You can just flame me for being retarded and thinking that this is even a question.

Not try u to say not to buy from Ebay, but the projectors in the aftermarket ones are nowhere near as good as OEM. They mite look hot, but in reality the mite not be as focused as OEM

I do like the black ones though, go OEM HIDs if u wont preformance and Ebay if u wont looks?

i'll take option # 3... jk. def. stay OEM. plus HID are sooo much better. visionbulbs.com sells kits for $200. what do you have on there now? I would do the clear corner mod and add an HID kit. but no matter what I would stay away from ebay headlights. they fog and at one point i had about 2 inches of water in one of mine.

thats what i was thinkin too.... downside to the oem ones is they're missing the wiring harness cover on the back of the drivers side high beam... so if anyone has an extra cover for it lemme know cuase i'm going to go with those..... if i can find the cover with the wiring harness.

+1 for the oem. I tried the ebay smoke halos and they look horrible even on my black audi. They also get fogged up whenever it rains. I switched back to my oems the same week and resold the halos on ebay. Better vision with the oem projectors too.
