Default New Here and to Audi / O2 Sensor Q

Greets friends,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I plan on searching the posts for most of my answers to my questions as I am sure they have been answered several times already

I do have a question however. Where is a good place for O2 sensors, I need to replace sensor 1 in bank 1, any idea where it is or a tutorial? I havent looked yet that is why I am asking.

Thanks in advance for your help.......btw I have a 96 2.8 non Quattro. This is my daily driver my new BMW 645i is my main toy

Thanks Again fellas

unfortunately our o2 sensors (12V 2.8s from 96-97) are pretty pricey, www.shokan.com has the best prices i've found. they also have a cheaper option that only includes the internals of the sensor, and you just reuse your plug and wire leads from the old sensor. these are less than 1/2 the price of new sensors, which are about 120 bucks. your engine has four o2 sensors. the two front sensors (pre cat) are more important and are three-wire sensors, and the rear sensors (post cat) are four-wire sensors.
