Whats going on all of you??
Im new here and decided to register because im soon getting a new A4 1.8T convertible, just ordered it and waiting to recieve it.
I dont know much about this car so thats what im here for, to discover it.
I know how annoying it can be to have newbies asking a bunch of answered questions here so ill do my best before posting.
I used to own a Lexus IS300 but its gone know, had to let it go.
Anyway i hope this is a cool forum like is300.net
Laters everyone

Hey welcome to the forum. It's a shame they aren't putting the new 2.0t engines into the cabies yet.

This is the story, ive always loved the design of the A4 convertible and I have a big poster in my room and I talk about it alot. I just graduated and since I dnt have a car right now my mom decided to get me one (the Audi). Its not really my choice not that im disapointed but yea thats pretty much it.
Im just here to find out about the modifications I should do to it (e/h/i) to begin with and then ill see.

One last thing it will be a front wheel drive and not quattro, did I make a mistake because I can change it within a few days. Wouldnt the Quattro have better acceleration if I decide to chip it??

Actually , Quattro would be slower then the FWD due to more weight.
Although IMO , there are many more advantages to AWD then disadvantages. Quattro is what Audi is all about!
Chipping your car will be the best thing for it. If you can still get the car with Quattro , GET IT !
Which tranny will you be getting ?
