hey all. i just bought a 2001 audi A4 1.8T Quattro last week, and I'm very happy.
i'm new to this whole "owning a car" thing so I just wanted to hear any good tips from all you experienced owners out there. any practical help and/or lessons learned kind of stuff would be appreciated.

also, any good suggestions on good, bright headlights, i.e., HID? thanks!

 

Congrats on the car man, how many miles, need to make sure the t belt is done about 65k or so..... headlights you will find alot if you search the forum, hid's are expensive but really nice

 

One thing that's really useful in this forum (besides the search function) is the list of links just above the list of posts in the forum. You should be able to find your HIDs on a few of those sites. Welcome!

 

it has 58K on the car, but the engine is new and only has 8K on it!

Hey welcome. Any pics of your ride? I'd recommend the RS6 lights over at oemhid.com. I installed them on my old Audi and they were great. Also look into buying some E-Code headlights for a much better headlight.
