I just bought 2000 A4 2.8 I will be picking it up this week. I have a couple of questions

5 X 100 is this the bolt pattern for this car?

this does not have the sport package, I am going to put the sport springs which is about 0.75" lower, will the OEM shocks be ok for this?

Is 235-40-18 tires ok, no rubbing or can I go wider?

Also do I need to change the OEM air filter to CAI will this give me more HP?

I want to do all this in the next couple of weeks to start, I will show you pics

thanks

Hey welcome to the forums.

No the bolt pattern is 5x112, the Audi TT has 5x100

If you only replace the springs, the shocks will wear out very fast. Then you'll be forced to replace those in a few months and pay for another suspension alignment. Why do you want to install stock sport suspension? The stuff isn't that great anyway. There are a lot of aftermarket kits that will be much better. You'll still have a bit of wheel gap if you plan on putting 18's and stock sport suspension.

No CAI don't give extra hp on our cars. The stock air box is very free flowing already.

The timing belt should be changed at 60k miles. If it hasn't been changed yet, it could go at any time.
