jayson check out the $80 custom air intake on vwvortex DIY section. It will give you all kinds of noises for a reasonable price. ECS also sells the race valve, cheaper than my stealership too... I'd rather give ECS the business anyway.

 

but DSM's vent back into the intake as well....why cant u buy a greddy BOV with the recirculating kit and vent it right back into the intake....that would totally work...and you dont have to run a stand alone fuel system to change to a GM-MAF and post it up on the intercooler piping after the BOV....that way it would be metering the air AFTER it gets blown out of the BOV, therefore, affecting nothing..

i know some people may think its ricey, but whats ricey about a BOV...lol, nothing. if anyone says they dont like the sounds...your lying...a turbo spooling and a BOV is by far the sexiest noise on a car...

this jetta that I used to live by has a DV on his car...and you can definately hear it, but its not remarkably loud like my greddy type S on my DSM, or my vented stock BOV on my WRX...

but if you vent while being stock...your car will run like craaaaaaaap. you might not wanna admit it because you will be fascinated by the sound, but it does effect your car...trust me.

 

Yea its entierly possible to make it work but its way too much work for what it does, and i know it runs like **** I forgot to rehook up my diverter valve once when i was working on my intercooler pipe and i started it and it ran like **** and then drove it and ran even more like ****

 

Um, no. I would not be lying at all. I think they are pretty retarded on the ricers. I dont even know harsh enough language to describe what it would be on a Audi.
