newbie cel question

i just purchased a vag-com,hooked it up and ran the program.
fault code 17536 came up.the code indacates fuel is to lean.
can this be corrected with the vag-com program from my lap top?

No, you need to find the probable vacuum leak. Check all you vacuum hoses and connections for cracks.

I am not at home, so I can't look up all the possible causes.

- Check fuel system pressure Page 24-33
- Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor Page 24-60
- Check intake system for leaks (false air) Page 24-68

P1128
17536
Bank 1, mixture adaptation (mult.)

System too lean
- Check oxygen sensor before catalytic converter Page 24-71
- Check oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter Page 24-87
- Check fuel injectors Page 24-38 .
