Why buy a stock one to mod yourself? If it has been well taken care of and your planning on modding thats a good deal.

 

does anyone know about the AC compressor and airbag sensor as stated above?

 

does the ac turn on when you start the car even if its turned off the last time? is that the problem your refering to, auto climate turns on at startup?

CARFAX CARFAX CARFAX its not everything you need to know but its important and major accidents do signifantly drop the value of a car even with repairs. how bad was the "rearending"

Always cosider what if you bought the car and for what ever reason had to sell it would you be able to sell it for the price you want or even the price its worth, did you look that up yet, mods are another issue.

he did the mods personally or professionally hows the quality of his work not just the mods themselves.

did you ask why he replaced the clutch preventative maintainence is always welcome if you know what you're doing and you have the extra cash but repairs as a result of inappropriate and even natural cuases are nothing to praise. be wary of repairs some service show signs of apathy others prudence. pride in ones ride just isn't enough to keep it at plus 90%.

ceck for oil leaks, hell check the oil yourself, check out the oil pan while your at it, i hear mobil 1 is the best in terms of no oil leaks

how much are you willing to spend on this car maintaining a german masterpeice means having an anual budget just for reasonable expected and unexpected services.

personally i'm not comforted to know someone did all that work on the car themselves, it makes me even more suscious does he have any really credentials with automobiles

taking this engine past 140-160k range will not be cheap or easy, how much will you drive it and how long do you want to keep it?

has this been mostly a one passenger car or has it had many occupants at a time.

the AC doesnt turn on from the climate control....the AC compressor inside the engine compartment is always running

as of now i dont know these things:

how serious the parking lot incident was
who did the mods
does he have service records
why he replaced the clutch.


about 5 people came to see the car...might be more since i have seen it 2 days ago


the work that is done to the car is nothing he could have done..... except for putting on the rims and dropping in an air filter or chip.

i plan on keeping the car for another 4 years....i am going away to college next year, so there will not be many miles going on the car.

i saw a babyseat in the back....this was a family car

as far as tires go.....really didnt take too much notice to them. i will next time i go to see the car.
