Default Newbie question about chip @ 94k

Hi there i have a 99 1.8t a4 and i really wanted to get the giac chip and a diverter valve but i'm affraid of the car having 94k on it that it might screw up the car. This is my first audi and i really have a lot to learn but i was curious what i should do? I have all records for the car the cylinder head was replaced, timing belt, water pump, timing belt update, it uses mobile 1 synthetic oil, so i mean the car has been takin care of but wanted to make sure that i'd be ok. Thanks

I wonder why the cylinder head was replaced? Adding more boost to your engine obviously causes more strain. However, I don't think you'll have any problems. As long as the car has been properly maintained you should be fine. My car had less than 30K on it when I chipped it so i really can't relate. Hopefully someone will chime in that has chipped a higher mileage A4. Good luck!

I'm sure you'll be fine. I know people (me) who have been chipped for 100k miles with no engine problems.

I have 144kilometers witch is I think 70 miles around there and I ahve done a BT setup little problems here and there but you have to expect that when doing this kind of upgrade the engine is strong like bull haha running 22psi
