Also, change your fuel filter.. its probably going to cost you some money to get it done, but you could easily do it yourself..
Easily!? Haha I remember helping my dad change the fuel filter on his 96... it was a bastard. So awkard... maybe a hoist would make it easier... I can't really remember.

you just gotta remove the straps holding the gas tank up.. ohh yeah.. i was doing it with a lift.. maybe on the ground with a couple of jackstands might be annoying

Get some low profile tires (45 or 50?), maybe a little wider if you can (215 or 225?). Sorry I can't give you an exact size for your 16s.

Ha Ha, Don't want to spend quite that kind of money on tires. I would love the michelins but not this time. I was actually thinking about some 205/50/16's or 215/50/16's but wasn't sure how that set up would look. I like the way the set up I have now looks but really haven't seen anything else that I know the set up of with 16's to compare to.

With 205/50/16s your car will feel/be a little faster. With 215/50/16s the tire will be a little wider and it will still be a smaller diameter tire but not as much as the 205s. The speedo will be off a little, but not much.

There are calculators online such as:

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Diameters in inches:
Stock: 24.88
205s: 24.07
215s: 24.46

Thanks, I think I am going to go with the 205/50/16s. I will get some pics up middle of the week with the new ones on. I also installed some new dual halo projectors this weekend that look good, and fit really well. So I will have to get some pics of those as well.

I got an exhaust off a 2001 S4 from craigslist for $30 and had a muffler shop fab some stuff and put it on for me. I think I spent a total of $120 and it looks great with the S4 tips and sounds 100 times better than stock.
