Well from experiance of doing Nitrous with many different cars from Supra's to Vipers to anything in between. If the car is a turbo application its not going to be able to handle a very large shot as the motor is not built for it. a NA ha a higher compression which should allow you to use a bit of a higher shot depending again on the car. Nitrous is not something you just throw on the car, and if its a dry shot then you are just asking to blow the motor as that has to be the most stupid thing to add to the car. Anyone that has made good power and knows engines will know this. Wet or Direct port is the ONLY way to go! Look at making power somewhere else until you have built your motor. Goodluck on this!

well this is the only kit I would put on my car, a computer managed 55hp way shot, has saftey switches built into it I would also be adding a window switch. The reason I am also thinking of doing this as opposed to a chip is I am already safely running 15 psi because if the diode mod so unless there are other positive affects to having a chip as opposed to this then I really dont see the point in spending the money on it.

Nitrous is no differen then going big turbo, if you instal it wrong, leave something out, or try to take short cuts you'll most likely F^ your motor. Your car can handle just about anything you throw at it as long as you prep it for it and do it right

What about upgrading your turbo / DV make real reliable power. New turbo kit, larger injectors, Piggyback fuel controller, FMIC? There are other ways to make WAY more power than doing nitrous.

but the other ways are there ALL of the time, I do not want it there all the time. it would just be nice to have on those days where I want a near 300 horse monster. I am pretty set on it at this point, thanks for the input guys.

he wants the 55 shot,

but ill bet he doesn't have full turbo back exhaust with a test or downpipe. you can also do a crank pulley to get a few hp's. even though your happy with 15psi, GIAC and APR are awesome and you can get to 20psi. So theres still some things he can do before he thinks about NOS.
