finally after engine flush,and alot of research on what the proper oil pressure should be, a new oil pressure sender has taken care of the problem. for anyones info..... this from the audi dealership mehanics, at idle,at normal operating temp approx 14psi...... at 3000 rpm`s approx 50-62psi seems a little low from others Ive heard on some post, but since that is close to where mine is running,Im happy....2000 quattro 1.8T.
