I searched and could only find how to replace the bulbs, but no one posts what type or number bulbs they are. And yes, I'm too lazy to remove the tail lights to see and find out.

 

go to napa or autozone tell them what car you have and they will put it in the computer. then the computer will tell them what the bulb number is. then you can buy them there or buy some on the net. why did a brake light go out or turn signal?

 

they're not burned out or anything. I wanted to replace them with LED units because they are brighter, light up faster when depressing the brake pedal and quickly go out when off the brake -- compared to the standard incandescent bulbs.

I know this is **** but I'm just like that about little things like this.

 

thats a good idea but is it possible? finding LED bulbs to fit the stock housing? b5? link me.

 

Oh yeah, its possible. LED units would be about the same size as regular bulbs. the only differrence is instead of just once glass sphere surface, there is a bunch of LED lights bundled together that take up the same amount of space or even less sometimes.

probably a halogen for the type dont know the number

 

An autozone or any import performance shops have them. The common ones are like the 1156, 1157 bulbs, but there are others, like 194, etc. They are a little more expensive but you won't be taking out a loan application or anything
