Default Noobish Wheel Question...

I have a Silver 03 a4 and it's just about completely stock, except for painted lowers, and I currently have the stock 16" rims & tires on it and as you can tell it doesn't have the sport package. I would really like to put the rims & tires that come with ultrasport b6's on my car. I'd just like to know if these would be too big for my car or would it look weird? Do I have to do anything else to accomodate these? Also, can anyone tell me what these rims are called and their exact size. They look like 19's to me but want to make sure. Anyone know a good place to get them?

Here is example I got off another forum.

Thanks

e bay sells a bunch of reps. the ones in the pic are rs4 wheels, the fat spoked ones.

i have heard that our cars can fit 20s but i wouldnt go any bigger than 18. keep in mind that the car will look kinda weird with big wheels and no drop.

In my opinion, if you have a B6, you can go up to 19. I agree with sandman that, without at least a small drop, larger than 18 would look a bit odd. You can buy the sport suspension from eibach (springs) for around 200 to 250. I have seen 20s on a B6, but its like not driveable.

I'm going with 19" Konig Prophets... I have 17" Konig Prophets right now, and I love them. So once I get a nice suspension, I'm going with 19" wheels.

Thanks everyone. That really helped out. I think once I'm ready I'm going to go with the replica wheels from Ebay. I will either be getting at least the 18" wheels and after looking at headshock's pics 19" may not look all that bad. One more question though. I don't have the stock sport suspension. I just have the regular stock suspension. Is the stock sport suspension lower than the regular? I'm just trying to determine if I get 19's will it come out looking like headshock's pics.

Yeah sport suspension IS a fair bit lower than non-sport, so you'd need to drop it to look like the pics I posted. I'd still go 19's though, just get it lowered!

Yeah, b6's need 19's... b5's look best with 18's.
