Hey everybody!

2000 A4 1.8TQ

For about two months now my car seems to stutter once shortly after startup. What I mean is the battery/voltage metre and my tach would dip for a second and get back to normal. This always occurs after starting the car (let it idle for about a minute), driving for another minute and when I hit the brakes or even after completing a stop the car would stutter and then the dip in rpms and voltage.

The car is fine and running ok. No CEL, fuel economy is kewl, idling and driving is also great!

I was wondering if this is normal. I don't recall this ever happening since owning this car. Or maybe it wans't paying attention or didn't notice.

Just to mention, the battery is new (replaced it in the summer with original part).
