Coolant burning smells like plastic burning.

white smoke = coolant, bluish smoke = oil, black smoke = fuel/gas.

 

the car seemed to idle fine and still pulled hard so i guess it was a one time thing? if it does it again ill try to see wat it smells like and the color. thanks for now

Better questino, what was the humidity like when your car did this, thick humid. dry. and go back to the muffler at anytime while the car is running, smell that. and compair to what you smelled then.

 

it was hot outside but not really humid not as bad as yesterday. Yeh ill go smell to see if it smells the same (tommorow)

 

yeah, smell it, and get back to us, as for the humidity. I doubt thats it but just want to eliminate it for sure. Do you actualy know what it was. better than yesterday (me being on the other side of the country) doesn't mean much.

 

The car didnt give out ne smoke today maybe it was a one time thing.... ill just leave it at that for now ill be back if it makes smoke again. Thanks for the help guys

That is good. Smoke from a car is never normal.
