i may sound like a dick by saying this but i could care less after reading some posts. but if some of u had a wreck and your parents didnt pay for it than they may be some ******* parents or are seriously wanting u to learn the hard way but having my parents pay for my repairs which is probably going to cost around $800, yes its alot, but it could be more if i didnt try to find parts elsewhere than audi and take it to another place. but that doesnt make me spoiled, at all, maybe your parents just arent as forgiving and sympathetic

Sounds like it.

If it bothers you so much, then you could save yourself the grief by saying exactly what the nature of the LOTS of work you're going to do is.

I understand what you're saying, and how you feel. But when I had a parking-lot fender bender in my Scion, which my parents spoiled me with in the first place, they told me "Your fault--you repair it." So I had to make an insurance claim. They bought the car, but our deal (seems reasonable to me) is that anything I do that hikes the cost of operation beyond baseline insurance premium (wrecks or tickets) is my fault and therefore my responsibility. It's great that you have generous parents; I am grateful every day for mine. But the line is where I fvck up. Makes sense to me.

Ok... Here is the solution to your guilt....Ask your parents to sell the car....(as I read above). Then YOU get a job. Save YOUR money and buy another one just like it. None of us will have to worry that you might "ebrake" into a curb.

Do you know why?

Because you won't be so careless with YOUR money.

Problem solved.

Of course I am a pr1ck right? After all.....my FIRST car was a 1975 rabbitt in two tone **** brown....regular gas and 4 speed on the floor. What a GREAT car that was. I mean it. Might have been the most fun car I ever owned (stress the I EVER OWNED).

Juice....sorry you wrecked your parents car. I am sure they are also sorry you wrecked their car. I am just trying to figure out what kind of a response you expected here.

Good luck kiddo...I mean it. Oh and tell your parents not to buy any younger siblings a nice car until the kids can pay at least the insurance!

Yes Juice....we all think you are spoiled. We think it regardless of how stupid your friends parents are.

The good news is that you seem to be considering it. Take your good fortune and do something with it.
