is what the code read. I'm going to just change it, actually all the o2 sensors soon, they are all due too go.
But is the code i got related to anything? did it derive from something else in particular? i've gotten it twice, the first time i cleared it and noi got it again, so im going to order some o2 sensors.thanks in advance.

 

it could mean your o2 sensors are just going, or the cat could be going bad. once you put the new o2 sensors in, if it doesn't come back it was your old sensors, if it does come back its probly the cat

 

No its not the cat, our engine management can tell the difference between a bad O2 sensor and a faulty cat. If the cat were bad, a below efficiency fault will be thrown. If an O2 sensor fault is thrown, then the O2 sensor or wiring is bad.
That won't be true on lets say a chevy cavalier.
