Octane Boosters
So i know there is alot of controversy over whether or not these things work. Well i went to Target this weekend and while i was there i saw STP octane booster with fuel injector cleaner in it also. It was only 3 bucks so i bought a bottle and figured i would just see what happened. It may just be me but i feel like my car is running like a champ right now. I just got back from a little drive where there is a long stretch of road. When i took off from the stop sign it felt like i had such a smoother take-off. Then when shifting under WOT it seemed just so much smoother and seemed like my 0-60 time was a little bit faster. You guys should just give it a chance and see what happens. But is it true that it should not be used on every fill up?

Thats what I was thinkin, placebo effect. Who knows if it was noticeable or not but I know theres a difference when using race gas vs. pump gas. I personally wouldnt buy it but for 3 bucks I can see why you would try it out!
yeah i was thinking it was probably just the placebo effect but it was still cool. An yeah i definately noticed the improved throttle response. i think i will do it something like once a month, just to keep the injectors nice and clean.
use BG 44k once every three months right be for the normal oil change use about 300 miles before the oil change it is pricey but the stuff cleans the crap out of the motor i used it right after i got my car and it was very noticeable and the oil was really black after words ive been using this stuff for years now and think that it is well worth the money. they sell it at napa stores

Although if you have a 1.8T and when your wife puts in regular 85 while your taking a crap in the bathroom, then octane boosters would help out
