Default oem snub mount vs. aftermarket?

ok so i been getting a noise from the motor when ever pressure is put on the mounts(i.e. when the clutch grabs, poking at the throttle). i get under my car today to an oil change when i decide to lookmat the snub or whats left of it, i could pulled the left over rubber out if i wanted to. now heres my dillema, i heard of all the great things a stiffer snub makes but is there any downsides like a harder idle or anything. i just want a nice ride with smooth up and downshift. i not sure if i should go out and buy a new oem mount or an aftermarket mount. guys with aftermarket mounts please throw some advice this way

like i said before "i heard all the great things about a stiffer mount" meaning i checked already and all i heard about was the good stuff? that "search" comment is getting old, it can be used in every post, if u dont have a comment on the topic then dont post

do you have a tip? if you have a tip and you get the apr mount you will have to shave some of it off....if you get the greedspeed or purems snub mount no modifications will be necessary...if you have a manual you shouldn't have any problems, although a handful of people with manuals have still mentioned vibrations from the apr mount.....search a little harder and all of this info can be found within the last few days of posting...idle with the greedspeed or purems mount is unaffected, there are really no downsides unless you go with apr, and that can be remedied with some shaving of the mount.

Go for the aftermarket snub. It's great. Tightens things up, and if there is a slight additional vibration, you won't notice it after a couple of days.
