Default Oil Filter Recommendations/Suggestions

I have a 2.8 A4 Quattro and will be changing the oil for the first time this week and have a few quick questions:

Since I have 50,000 miles, would you recommend using Restore?
Is the filter easy access?
Should I use the recommended filter in the book at the auto parts store?
I plan on using Mobile 1. Has anyone else been running it and if so have you been happy with the results?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi nolander, welcome to the forums. Most people stick with factory oil filters. I have more trust in them than "autozone brands". I actually use Mahle filters, which are a good german brand. I use M1 OW-40 oil also.

Can't find M1 0-40, so I've been running M1 5-40 and using the Mahle filters
