Default oil in fmic and pipes

ok i was cleaning the engine bay today, so i decided to take apart the pipes for the fmic. i then noticed that there was oil in the fmic and in the pipes. also there was oil in the pipes on the driver side of the fmic. i put the fmic up right to drain the oil out into a cup and 1/4 of oil was in the cup. is this normal??and where is this oil coming from?? i have a k04 installed last year, with the fmic and custom pipes.any help would be great

The oil is blow by from the PCV. You need to add in a catch can to prevent this from happening. What a catch can will do is slow down the air before going into the intake and draw the oil out. A simple air compressor filter, some fittings and hose and you can have a really nice system for ~$30 and just a trip to Home Depot/Lowes and stop at the autoparts store

Well did you ever check to see if the catch can is full? Are you still running the stock PCV valve too? If you are, change the PCV valve and empty the catch can.
