every 4th fill up of gas, my oil light comes on. it indicates more oil, is this normal?
milage is just under 8500K.

 

Audi specs one quart of oil burned per 1200 miles is normal, so see if your burning more than that. Theres another thing to consider if you have a 2.0. On some cars there was a tech bullitin to replace the pcv valve to get rid of excessive oil consumption.
