Oil Pan removal
Hey so i got some cracks in that oilpan of mine now. how hard is it to pull the oil pan? becase it looks like i would have to drop lower pars (krossmember and such), has anyone done it?
i think i am just gonna drain the oil out nd clean p the surface of the pan with partswash and some scratch pards or somethign and just JB weld it http://jbweld.net/products/water.php talked to some peopl and they said that that stuff works great for oilpans.... would save me a lot of work time and money... and sh*t, i just need somethign to hold my oil... i dont' care if it looks good or not
Well ya dont weld where the pan is bolted to the block. If it was a crack on the bottom it would work.
Might be a good idea to get an in cabin oil pressure gauge if youre going to be thrashing the car all the timewithout a beefy belly pan [8D]
