that picture looks to me as if its a 4cyl? i have a v6 30v the light was gone for about 2 weeks and now is coming on very sporadically and shutting off on its own, no knocking from the engine at all, so is there where i test for oil pressure on my motor? and if so what psi should i be looking for?

4/6/8/12 cylinder the sensor should be in the block as the picture shows and you need to tap into it to check the oil pressure, older cars had an oil pressure gauge and much more its a pity they didn't carry this on with the newer cars ( greedy sods )
