only have 1 key... need to program it????

I only have one key for my 2000 A4....is there any way to program it.... oh my the way my driver door lock is broken... so i have to use the trunk to lock and unlock the car....
any suggestions?

all the posts give info about using 2 keys... one in the ignition and one in the door....
but i only have one key.

just go to audi I guess. A new valet key will set you back about $250. It kinda hurts I know

i would buy a key on ebay... you can get it for a lot cheaper and then get it programmed at an audi dealer

If you have a stock jack, check to see if you have an emergency key in the jack box. The emergency keysare black plastic.
