Default Opinions on a 2000 A4 1.8t Quattro vs. 2002 WRX?

Hey, im new to the forum and i wanted your guys opinions. I'm considering picking either a 2000 A4 1.8t 5speed or 2002 WRX up as an alternate car. Im comparing the two because i can get either one for about $15,000 and theyre both AWD sedans. Right now i have a supercharged 2001 BMW 330ci. What are your opinions on the two? Heres what i have weighed out...

A4 Pros:
Its German
Its an Audi
Its a solid car
It doesnt really sacrifice the luxuries that im used to
It's NOT a car that cops will be on my *** for
It can be chipped and have an intake thrown on for easy power
It's safe

Cons:
It is really slow(190hp less than my 330ci)

WRX Pros:
Its fast stock.
Its a WRX.

Cons:
Cheapo interior
Not really a solid car.
Cops might take a second look at a 19 year old kid in a WRX.
Doesnt have the class of an Audi or german car.

Thanks,
Robby

Kind of odd/subjective cons and pros for both choices.
Why the change from the BMW?
But if we're going to stick with subjective thoughts...
IMO: Audi will grow with you. Subaru's excitement will get old quickly.

My friend has an 04 WRX, he bought it brand spanking new for 27K. Almost one year later he is selling it to buy the STI because of tranny and clutch problems for like 32K. The rex's tranny sucks if you drive like your driving a mustang, but then again there are people with 400hp on there stock tranny cause the treat it like an old grandma. The clutch is another issue, your going to launch it, anoyone in there right mind would want to if there driving it. There are more tuner companies out there for the wrx compared to the audi. Theres still a vast variety for audi. Im sure the clutch and tranny are an issue for the audi but i haven't heard too many bad things yet. But then again, comparing the wrx and an audi, is like comparing a mustang and a civic. maybe.....

His mods: HKS SSQ BOV, 3" free flow exhaust turbo back, CAI, APEXI super AFC, short shifter. Raised boost to 18-19lbs of boost sometimes even 20. Estiamted 1/4 from other cars he beat 12.9.

no no no comparing a A4 to a wrx is like comparing oranges to tangerines sure an orange is bigger but a tangerine tastes better and sounds a hell of allot cooler.
....aaaaaah yeah.....so if your lookin for speed go with the suby if your looking for refinement go with the A4 and chip it.....
