Default Opinions on window films

Its been a while since I've looked into this, and I'm sure the field has changed quite a bit. I have a Ming Blue A4 Avant and would like to get the windows tinted soon. Nothing too dark for sure. What films are available these days and which ones are the best?

Cheers,

=eb=

Formula one, and sunguard are two of the best window films you can buy.

If I'm going to do it its going to be the same all the way around.

Thanks for the suggestions on films. I'll check 'em out!

Cheers,

Anybody ever heard of Diamond Brand? Is it decent, orjust crapfilm?

Don't want to thread jack here, but its not worth starting a new thread for this: if I have a small bubble, can you just take a razor blade, make a small hole, and smooth it out?

Huper Optik makes a nice high end ceramic film. Its also usually pretty expensive.

Otherwise, go with a carbon film such as suntek.

Whatever you do, don't get a metalized or dyed film. These are the cheap ones that turn purple over time. They also interfere with radio reception, etc. Suntek also carries this as well as llumar and others.
