Well I did, and I even put a new thermostat in it and nothing is happening..The car will go to about half way and stop, then start to go toward the H..I dont know if it is the sensor, or could it be a water pump?
Please just let me know what you all think.
thanks!

Hold on a minute, are you saying the temp on the gauge doesn't rise, or are you saying its slowly going towards the H which means its overheating?

The fault code is not gonna have anything to do with it overheating, what you need to do is make sure its really over heating. You need to get a temp gun or see if the coolant is actually getting that hot by feeling the hoses. If it is overheating the water pump is bad because you already did the thermostat.
As for the fault code its probably a bad sensor. Change the coolant temp sensor because those are relatively cheap anyway, if that doesn't fix the fault code the G 12 sensor inside the coolant expansion tank is bad.

Well this just started happening out of nowhere..Are we talking about the sensor on the back of the motor?
Has a prong coming out of it, and has a 4 **** plug in...so water pump?

Water pump is probably causing the overheating concern, they are made up of a plastic wheel inside the engine that breaks off, this will cause the temp to slowly rise because the coolant isn't flowing like it should. You should be getting the water pump fixed before anything else, fix that and erase all your faults. If the fault code doesn't come back and the temp gauge works fine after the repair don't worry about it.

Ok man thanks...But even after I cleared the codes, could it still be just a sensor, or just a water pump....I guess im going to get the water pump changed then..
