If its black there is a black wax that ive used in the past that worked great. I believe there is other colors too but not sure how good they work.

Is there any silver wax? Or should I just use some generic wax?

Get something that claims to take out swirl marks and scratches, that will help a little, then put a good coat of wax on it, use something good, not cheap crap.

Meguires gold class is good, or meguires NXT tech wax, also zymol, or mothers wax, or any good carnuba wax. The shine will hide the scratches.

5k sounds ok, as long as the car has good maintenance records.

Not sure go to the auto store and look for "color match" wax. If there is none then get a quality brand like Mother's, Mcguires or something of that nature. Generic wax could give you generic results.

Yeah, the guy showed me all of the records and history of the car...and on top of that, and problems that I noticed, he was going to the Audi Dealership to get it inspected...for example, the brakes and air bag lights were on, and he said its because he got new brakes and the mechanic didn't know how to reset the code, so he was going to go to our local Audi Dealership to get it inspected and OKed. But yeah, I am definetly going to have to wax it, my dad said some wax may be like $7 or $10 but idk, I want good stuff like you guys said. Another thing about the car is that part of the rear left tail light is missing (idk how), and the front right blinker is cracked...but I can get all that stuff replaced later on.
