Default Parking light

so i am cleaning my maf today and i take out my right headlight to help with re-installing the tubing for the airbox

so i put my light back in and sort of pinched the wire for my parking light bulb, go to drive in the dark and get the light on dash telling me it is out

make a long story short, i spliced in new wire where i pinched it and the light doesn't work at all

any help?

Check for a voltage drop across the wire repair. You should have a very small drop. Around .1v or so.

the more i thought about it one of the connections just might not be as good as another or something but for the light just to not work at all........... i dunno
