i was @ 9psi with the stock ic, and after i installed the fmic, i only boosted about 6psi. No other change but the fmic. Explain that to me, would you please.

 

ok first, now you pissed me off a bit, i was pointing out that you talk of all these plans you have for the car being "as fast as possible" and "a track car", and your also selling it. sounds weird. The only fish smell between my legs might be left over from your girlfriend, and sounds like she just wants your money. As for your car, having a front mount and a mbc is retarded to begin with, as if you werent stressing your motor enough faking it into more boost while retaining stock timing and air flow, then throwing a fmic on it and hacking your bumper to bits so you can plow snow with your little intercooler. not only does your car look dumb, but have fun seeing how much that fmic gets busted up from rocks and stuff.

 

Seriously, your special. Why would i need to explain to you about pressure drop? But again.... since your special, ill help you out. 14psi at the manifold is the same amount of air as w/ and w/o the pressure drop, just the turbo is working harder to do it. You be even bigger of an idiot running 16-17psi on stock sw with a B5. And one last thing, your larger ic piping is causing more of the pressure drop than the ic

So again retard boy, reread the entire thread before my post and show me where you 1) mentioned the pressure drop and 2) where you claim you would run above 14psi on stock sw with a B5.

Why dont you just run no bumper, might look better than the pos hack job.

I give you props for doing what you wanted to do, even if it isn't everyone's cup o' tea. At least you're modding. I can't afford to yet, and I love my stock B6 so much that I don't know if I want to. Oh, did I mention it's a CPO vehicle, so modding can cause problems with my warranty? Call me a wimp, but it is refreshing to know I won't have to kick out one dime for service for the next 40K miles and 4 tune-ups. OK, I'm rambling.
