the guy is right. toyota is where its at. everyone should own one. they run forever and are pretty cheap to maintain.
too bad my corolla is a money pit. but thats my number one love, so.........

What....did this forum get switched to the toyota forums or somthin? Dont get me wrong toyotas are nice and reliable, but they are deff. not close to comparable to an audi. Besides everyone and their brother has a toyota. Hopefully someday you will be able to re-join the family, but until then you are just the ugly red-headed step-child. J/k

 

Doesnt the camry share the same chasis with the lexus ES line?? And land cruiser with the lexus suv that looks identical?

 

yes ..but they arent "the same" the chassis are shared because they are put together by the same manufacturer

just like
camry = ES
acorrd = TL/CL
passat = A4
Civic = interga/RSX
and so many more

 

if vw and audi aren't the same car, then why does the haynes manual I have for my car, have a vw passat on the cover and says repair manual for Passat (1998 thru 2001) and Audi A4 (1996 Thru 2001)? And Why does my bros. cabrio have the audi "sign" all over every part?

 

i have the same haynes manual... if they are the same then change your sig to "1998 Forest Green 2.8 Liter VW A4 Quattro Sedan"

yes the platforms are the same.. alot of times the chassis are the same.. but thats not what makes the whole car

also in that haynes manual.. does it not have different material for both the Pasatt an the A4? if you read your haynes manual at all you will know that not all the information in there applies to BOTH cars
