Picture time
I am an amatuer photographer who has three pros in the family. I just got some REALLY nice equipment and am looking for people in my area who are interested in some sort of photo shoot. Completely free. Here are a few very quick samples that I have. I will post more soon. I am in the southern Wisconsin area. Whitewater to be specific, but I go to Milwaukee and Minneapolis to visit family quite often

Ah it's a Honda
In honest opinions though those pics are sick. I'm in love with the sky in the second one and like the angle of the first. If I lived anywhere near you I would def, want a photoshoot.

There are two types of pictures I like: 1. Low light pictures [the Hondaone] 2. Cool backgrounds
For low light pics make sure to use a tripod and NO FLASH. Also make sure there are no light bulbs too close to the car, they end up causing the lighting on the car to be wierd.
For the cool background ones I just drive around town and and find the most interesting picture spots, then trow my car if front of it [8D]

Tripods are a must for shooting in low light conditions. They can be pretty cheap too. Or better yet, improvise. Set your digicam on self timer, turn off the flash and set it on something solid and see what you get. Here's an old trick...all cameras have a tripod socket on the bottom. Find a bolt with the same thread pattern as the socket on the bottom of the camera. Now, take an empty 2 litre bottle and drill a hole in the cap. Thread the bolt through the cap so that the head of the bolt will end up inside the bottle when you put the cap back onand secure it there with some glue. Fill the bottle 1/4 of the way full with water to give it some weight and stability. Screw your camera on the top and presto...a cheapo tripod!
