damn cops ... i never knew u had to have a sticker on your tints ... he didnt even check the percentage , he gave me 136 dollar ticket for not having a sticker on my tints ....anyone else know anything about this should i fight it or what

new to me, i ve never heard about that sticker. Funny thing is i got pulled over twice for non traffic violating stuff, and my tint is way illegal, i even have my front window tinted with a strip. 15% all the way around.

 

ough, and i would fight it, f**k cops, i hate them all.

 

maybe it is just in connecticut ... but yea he was an *** about it ... he followed me for 5 min cause he kicked us out a parking lot for taking pics ... then finally turned the lights on and gave me a ticket for not having a sticker for my tints

 

Any vehicle with an after market tinted window must have a tint compliance sticker affixed to it by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Stickers may be affixed to vehicle windows which, when tested, have an allowable light transmittance of no less than 35 percent plus or minus three percent.

at least your allowed 35%.... in Iowa its 70 up front max and no limit rear.

A friend of mine had 20 all the way around and got pulled over 3 times in one week.

 

Yea well here in NJ its nothing up front and whatever you want in the rear i believe.

 

i booked an appointment tomorrow too get the back two redone ... then saturday im gonna go to dmv and see what they tell me bout this sticker ... ill post what the price is and all for those of u who want to know bout the sticker
