plastic panelling
Hello all,
I have a 2010 a4 avant that has recently been making some sounds as though they were coming from the air conditioner. I popped the hood and could see a decent amount of debris (mostly pine needles) under the plastic panel that covers the upper portion of the engine bay. I twisted the plastic screws and lifted each side and hosed them out in the hopes of alleviating this problem (so far, so good). Unfortunately, when I went to put the screws back in, I noticed that the driver's side of this plastic (debris?) panel didn't sit flush to the well for the windshield wipers... it is possible that this was the case before I fiddled with it, but I was just wondering, is there anything in that upper portion that can be hurt by water and by it not being flush? Or is it normal for this side not to sit completely flush? Thanks so much for your help!
