HELP plastic in oil!

Default HELP plastic in oil!

Changing my pcv valve and that dam yellow dipstick holder thing that broke wile removing the intake manifold!!! A couple of crumb size pieces of plastic fell down the dip stick tube. What is the easiest way to get them out and do i need to at all. Thanks.

you can try draining the oil threw a screen or filter to see if they come out if they don't they will never make it threw the filter in to the motor.

are they stuck in the dip stick or did they fall all the way down? Idk if the oil filterwould catch it or not. If it was me I would start by draining my oil

The oil filter should catch it. That's what it's there for.

thats fellas, the chips went all the way through the dip stick tube. My oil is empty now, i will run a bottle through to see if it comes out. thanks. didnt want to pukll the oil pan off.

you seriously think they're small enough to get past the pick-up screen of the oil pump? if they are then the oil filter will grab them otherwise they will just sit in your oil pan unless they do come out with an oil change at some point.

heres a crazy idea...flip your car upside down and shake it out.

i remember reading somewhere here or a link off of here about those things breaking off tho.
